G-CCCJ is now owned by Tony Randall (2010)

Previous owner George Brown said in 2005

I now own Ridley Kendalls Menestrel G-CCCJ which first flew in Feb 2003. It is powered by a Jabiru 2200cc 80hp flat 4. Total hours 63. Ridley trained me up on the Menestrel, at his own expense. No mean feat as I had no tailwheel experience at all. It is now based at Eddsfield, North Yorks, an unlicensed grass strip about 800 mtrs, with 80ft trees at one end. CJ soars over them no problem unlike one or two span cans which can't. I am 62 and passed my skill test in July 2004 after commencing training in Sept 2003. I have now done 220 hrs. As well as CJ I also own a third share in a Grumman Cheetah G-IFLI which is based at Beverley , a licensed grass strip about 700 mtrs. Mary my wife flies with me, our furthest trip being Le-Touquet. We plan to do West Scotland or Lands End next. I bought the Menestrel because 2 days a week I fly on my own and CJ fits in to our pattern of life nicely. We intend to keep our share in IFLI as CJ cannot take Marys luggage requirements for a 3 night trip!!!!!!!! Picture
