(Click on pictures to enlarge) Second side in same jig used for first side - May 06 Having built as much of the second side as I could in the first jig I have now removed it, dismantled the original jig and rebuilt the jig around the first side having replaced it on the board ply face down. The partly built second side is now dropped into the new jig for completion Clamps being used to pull the curved longerons into position in the new jig before screwing down retaining blocks ready to apply the outer skin of plywood. The two sides finally completed and work started on the formers. Ash uprights for former B fuselage. Wing mount holes marked but will NOT be drilled at this stage after taking advice from Roger. The former B frame glued and clamped. This was the last glue mixed before the workshop became too cold this Autumn Former C set out on the board but not yet glued. September 06
