First Away
The gaggle of seventeen menestrels flew out to sea and the weather turned decidedly murky over the water! Our Island destination was barely visible as we approached
Glad to be safely down we all taxi in through the misty rain!
Before tucking in to the most amazing sea-food lunch:
After the meal our French host gets out his bagpipes!
And then we all climb back into our aircraft
And take off together, crossing the water before following the river back inland towards Chateaubriant

The final gathering before Saturday night's party begins
And just to prove that some of us really did camp on the airfield!
Unfortunately Chard and I had to head back for the ferry on Sunday morning, but the rest took to the air again on Sunday and flew to an aircraft museum on an airfield near Paris. Truly a superb weekend!
